Meet Sarah-Jane
Blow Dry Express is the brainchild or inspirational hairdresser Sarah Jane (SJ). SJ has been living and breathing fashion since she started out as a hairdressing apprentice age 15 in her small village in Wales. Her creativity and drive saw her rise quickly through the ranks, moving to Manchester to work with Toni & Guy as a teenager and then on to a consulting role in London where Headmaster’s appointed her as a manager— the youngest manager ever.
A holiday in New York City introduced SJ to the concept of fast beauty where busy women enjoy easy access to blow dry bars on every street corner. In-and-out hair salons without the time and expense of a traditional hair appointment represent a new way of life.
SJ’s vision is to bring the blow dry culture to London with the express aim of making affordable styling accessible to everyone: no intimidating stylists, no hard sell on products, no prohibitive or hidden prices.
“We all love the ritual of getting our hair done but wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could bottle this feeling in bite-size chunks throughout the year? My dream is for everyone to enjoy the buzz of salon-styled hair as a routine rather than a treat. So, I’ve created a distinctive salon that makes customers feel the buzz.”
